📦 Our Shipping Services

We regularly use Royal Mail First Class post and when specified Royal Mail Special Delivery, or International Tracked and Signed For.

Prices are subject to Royal Mail price increases and are correct as of 6th October 2025


⚖️ Weight-Based Shipping Policy

Gaelforce Fly-fishing operates a weight-based shipping policy on small parcels. This facility is built into our webshop checkout and will calculate your shipping charges automatically, incrementally increasing in 250g increments on Airmail and International Tracked services up to a maximum of 2kg.

Small Parcel First Class Delivery (1-2 working days) – £5.99

Medium Parcel First Class Delivery (1-2 working Days)-£7.95

Small Parcel Special Delivery/Signed For (1-2 working days) – £6.99

🚨 Important Brexit Update – Effective 1st January 2021

All Royal Mail parcels outside the UK can only be sent tracked & signed with an insurance value of £250.00

Standard delivery removed as an option (only covered to the value of £20.00)

🚨 USA Reclassification Notice: The USA has been re-categorized as of 1st July 2020, now known as World Zone 3 with a considerable price increase.

For larger parcels and fishing rods, we use Courier Services.

⚠️ Important Customs Information

Unfortunately, we have no control over local customs authorities and cannot be held responsible should they wish to apply customs duties & handling charges: Any non UK countries will receive customs charges upon delivery of goods from a courier, this depends on your countries vat charges. Tariffs now fully apply to goods shipped to USA as of August 30th 2025, a 10% USA/UK Tariff charge is applied on entry, generally with an additional handling charge applied by the courier. This charge must be paid by the customer on entry and generally works out at around 16% of invoice value. Bear in mind the 20% vat (sales tax) is removed from your invoice at the checkout when your address is added.

The price structure below is calculated on the total parcel weight up to  250 grams for Airmail and International Tracked and signed for..

USA has been re categorised as of 1.7.2020 now known as World Zone 3 with a considerable price increase.

For small parcels our charges are:

U.K  up to 1kg.

First Class: delivery 1-2 working days £5.45
Special Delivery/Signed for: 1-2 working days £6.55

Costs of delivery will vary according to destination, weight and size of parcel.

Therefore prices will be obtained per item. We will email you with these details and accept payment for delivery costs prior to despatch.
