Wowser! The world is your oyster with this stick folks……… This rod has so much power, it’s incredible! I’ve never handled a rod that had this much power with a very fast recovery, yet maintained a smooth deep flexing action. It is so easy to cast this rod, it does all the work for you! Highly recommend the 15m #11 on this stick and the 63′ 11/12 cut into a head. Just a moderate forward stroke and watch your line fly out there. This rod makes Spey casting addictive folks, be careful
August 1, 2025BUYER BEWARE…..this is my first rod from James, but I fear that it won’t be my last! The rod is finished beautifully and can cast a line a effortlessly (even with my casting)! It handles a sinking head with authority and can punch a line through a stiff breeze no problem. As always, first class service comes as standard.
May 28, 2025If you are looking to buy a 15’er and want one that will do it all, do yourself a favour and opt for this one. Without doubt, the best 15’er I have ever used in my 44 years of fishing for salmon with a fly. What more can I say?
