The 15m series of lines is my absolute favorite Spey line on the market. It is so practical and user friendly! It has a beautiful taper and balance, yet is very powerful! This line can do it all, and is phenomenally easy to cast. I can cast big flies with this line, and even add sink tips right off the end if I wish, or I can cast long leaders and smaller flies as well. Doesn’t matter, it just performs. If I could only have one Spey line the rest of my life, the 15m would be it.
October 4, 2025This is an amazing line! Its become my favorite fishing line to use now, and reach for it often. It casts with the ease of a scandi, yet has the length of a mid Spey. Its also extremely powerful. Ill use either long tapeeed leaders or sink tips up to 100gr. Its incredible for getting distance yet slices through wind better than long bellies IMO. Truly, the EMT is a fishermans line, who loves long graceful casting.
