The Celtic Spey challenge in Belfast May 2018 proved to be a huge success, with competitors traveling from all over the world to compete.in this prestigious event. A World class field gathered for the weekend at the Waterworks in Belfast. A huge thank you to Eddie Cassidy and his team for putting it all together.The GAELFORCE Equalizer EED80 line proved to be the no1 line for competition casting taking the top three places in the finals and breaking the World record 61.5m in the qualifying rounds.

The Celtic Speychallenge is a competition that produces the highest in standards allowing for any recognised Speycast to be used, thus allowing for left handers or right handers not  to be disadvantaged and cast at their full potential, a great turnout and competitive display for this competition was achieved with many competitors competing here for the first time achieving some fantastic casts and personal bests.
